生け花 Ikebana

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
It is also known as kadō.
The origin of ikebana can be traced back to the ancient Japanese custom of erecting evergreen trees and decorating them with flowers as yorishiro to invite the gods.

Throughout human history, in East and West alike, the beauty of flowers has added grace and charm to people’s lives.

The seasons are also expressed in flower arrangements, with flowers grouped differently according to the time of the year.

Ikebana has always been considered a dignified accomplishment.
